The value of natural gas
We use it to cook, to heat up the water we wash in, to move about in gas-powered transport and to heat our homes. Natural gas is very important in our lives and is a synonym for clean energy.
It is used increasingly because of its low cost and efficiency, but it is a non-renewable resource and it is important to use it responsibly. A few small changes can help you consume less and save money on your bill.
Pilot light
A silent waste. It is equivalent to 5% of consumption in Argentina. Shutting it off is a simple way to save.
Careful with the oven
It consumes the same as three burners. Use it only if it’s really necessary.
Do not mix water in the shower
Running the hot and cold water at the same time wastes energy by heating too much. Regulate the temperature at the water heater.
